The short version
Add-on Forge is built to know as little about you as possible. There are no usernames, no passwords, and no sign-up. We never ask for your name, your email, or your age, and we don't sell anything about you to anyone.
What we collect
- A random device number. When you first open the app it creates an anonymous number so your gems and creations stay with your device. It isn't linked to your name, your email, or your Apple ID.
- What you type into the forge. Your description of the add-on you want, and any change or new look you ask for, is sent to outside services that build the files and paint the artwork. We also keep a copy for up to 30 days so we can fix problems and make the forge better. That copy isn't linked to your device number, and it's deleted automatically after 30 days. Please don't type personal information into it — it doesn't help the forge, and it doesn't need to know.
- Basic server logs. Standard records of requests, including your IP address, kept briefly to stop abuse and keep the service running.
- Subscription status. If you subscribe, Apple handles the payment and tells us that a subscription is active, through a billing service we use to keep track. We never see your card, your billing address, or your Apple ID.
- Optional ads. You can choose to watch a short ad for free gems — you never have to. Those ads come from Google AdMob. Nothing goes to Google until you first tap “Watch an ad.” From then on, Google receives information from your device such as your IP address, device and app details, and how you interact with the ad, so it can show the ad, count it and prevent fraud. We ask Google for non-personalized ads with its protections for teens: each ad is chosen using only this app and your general location (about city-level, from your IP address), not your activity elsewhere, and the app never asks to track you across other companies' apps and websites. We also give Google the random device number so it can confirm to us that you finished the ad and your gems should be added. How Google uses this information: policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
What we don't do
- No accounts, no passwords, no email collection.
- No selling of personal data, and no personalized advertising.
- No tracking across other companies' apps and websites, and no third-party analytics software in the app.
Your creations stay on your device
Add-ons you save are stored on your device, not on our servers. Deleting the app deletes them, so download or share anything you want to keep.
Children
Add-on Forge is intended for ages 13 and up and is not directed to children under 13. Because there are no accounts, we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13. Ads in the app are limited to content rated suitable for general audiences with parental guidance. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Your controls
- Deleting the app removes your saved add-ons and the device number along with it — there is no account left behind to close.
- Manage or cancel a subscription in your device's Settings, under your Apple ID.
- Skip the ads entirely — they only play when you tap “Watch an ad.” If you see an ad that doesn't belong, tap “Report an ad” in Get Gems and we'll block it. Where the law gives you an ad-privacy choice, Get Gems also shows an “Ad privacy choices” link so you can change it anytime.

Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it, and the current version always lives at this address.
