How do I get my add-on into the game?

After a forge finishes, tap Download add-on and choose the game in the share sheet — the game imports it automatically. Then open your world's settings, turn the pack on under Behavior Packs (its Resource Pack switches on with it), and go find your creation.

Where did my downloaded add-on go?

If you shared it straight into the game, it lives there — there's no separate file to see. If you want a copy you can see and keep, choose Save to Files in the share sheet instead. Your creations also stay on the Your add-ons shelf in the app, ready to download again anytime.

Import is picking files but rejecting them

Import accepts .mcaddon files. The picker shows everything in your Files app, but the forge checks each file and politely refuses ones that aren't real add-ons. Add-ons stored inside the game itself aren't visible to the picker — save a copy to Files first.

My gems didn't show up after subscribing

Force-quit the app and reopen it — your balance refreshes on launch. If the gems still haven't arrived, tap Restore in the top corner of the gems screen. Still stuck? Email us and we'll make it right.

How do I cancel Add-on Forge Plus?

Apple manages the subscription: open your device Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Addon Forge Plus → Cancel. Access and weekly gems continue to the end of the paid week.

A forge failed — did I lose gems?

No. Gems are only spent when a creation is delivered. If the forge fails, the hold releases automatically and your balance comes back. The one exception: leaving the app or locking your screen while a forge is running cancels it, and those gems stay spent — the forge had already started on your idea. Keep the app open until it finishes.
